We were delighted to recently work alongside our joint auctioneers, Clive Emson Auctioneers, on behalf of Torbay Council to successfully dispose of a number of surplus and quite unique property assets across the Bay.
From redundant toilets, to a Victorian Ice House and development plots, the lots generated strong interest from investors, developers and local buyers, highlighting the continued demand for well-located properties with redevelopment or refurbishment potential.
Successful sales included the Victorian Ice House, Watcombe Beach Toilets, Watcombe Beach Café, land at Whitstone Road, the former Polsham Centre, Paignton, land at Pendennis Road, Torquay and the former Cadets Unit, Brixham .
These successful transactions will provide valuable capital receipts of well over £400,000 for Torbay Council while giving a range of redundant and underused sites the opportunity to be brought back into productive use. It’s always rewarding to see surplus assets find new owners with fresh ideas and investment plans.
